Today we have another spoiler in addition to Mary Walker, though I don't have the time to write an article about that one. Right now we have Hidden Weapons. What does this card actually bring to the table? Isn't Stark Tech strictly better? Let's take a look.
So first off, Stark Tech isn't strictly better, nor is Hidden Weapons. It is usually not a good thing to say something is strictly better than another card in this game when things can be very situational.
Besides the fact that they require different factions out in play, Hidden weapons can be played in combat as a surprise. That begs the question to be asked, Why on earth would I care to give my character ranged in mid combat? Most people understand the +1/+1 tactic as a surprise but if your opponent is using a ranged attack against you, you can now strike back which will definitely surprise your opponent. Even the odds won't even remove the range "strikeback" which could be a vital stun in the game. I imagine many people will be more hesitant to team ranged attack with cosmo or Yondu with a Defenders character on board.
I should be able to get to all of the other previews sometime this weekend hopefully.
